His company told him to come back. Otherwise he may have been stranded here. I talked to Trav's younger son earlier today, and I'm happy to report that Michael has a plan.
He?s going to board up his apartment this afternoon, and stock the bathtub with beer. He said he?s about a mile inland from the evacuation line, and if he?s forced to leave his apartment, he?s taking his dog and going back to the restaurant where the works. As he said, it?s a big building and there?s plenty of food and drink.
He also had the foresight to buy renter?s insurance. Yesterday.

Go where? There are no hotel rooms to be had anywhere in the area. No shelters accept pets and I am NOT leaving my dogs behind. The friend I stayed with last time is actually much nearer its current projected path than I am (by 60 miles in fact) Que sera, sera.
